Discipled Warriors exists to educate and encourage men to be successful stewards of God's Kingdom. Successful stewardship requires the tools and the mindset to survive and thrive in spiritual warfare.
Discipled Warriors seeks to strengthen local churches using a program that teaches and trains men to be the spiritual leaders God created them to be.
We are not a parachurch alternative to the local congregation. Every cohort is drawn from a single church, trains on that church’s campus, and finishes inside that church’s life. Warrior stewards support their local church, and the training is built to send men back stronger rather than to gather them somewhere else.
Discipled Warriors is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry. All donations are used to provide the program to local churches. No donations become income.
Mission
To educate and encourage brotherhoods to effectively battle spiritual warfare and be Godly stewards in the local Church.
Vision
Churches across the country running their own discipleship engine, staffed by men they have trained themselves, so that no man in the congregation is fighting his spiritual battles alone.
Statement of Faith
The Discipled Warriors ministry accepts the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the inspired, written Word of God. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice, and it states that salvation comes by God's grace offered through personal belief that Jesus conquered death after paying for humanity's sins.

Ray leads the Discipled Warriors ministry in a full-time capacity. He brings professional expertise in teaching, training and leading across the military, higher education, and adult Bible studies.
Ray founded Discipled Warriors and stewards its growth and development to make it a force multiplier for God’s Kingdom.
He is married to Kelly. They have four children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and six grandchildren.
Calling and ministry story
Ray spent a career teaching, training and leading, first as a Major in the U.S. Army, then in higher education, and alongside both in adult Bible studies. The same pattern kept appearing in every setting: men who wanted to lead well and had never been trained to.
Discipled Warriors was founded to close that gap inside the local church rather than alongside it. Ray now stewards the ministry full time, and its growth and development, to make it a force multiplier for God's Kingdom.
Three convictions shape every cohort, every lesson and every decision about how the training runs.
A church rises or falls on whether its men are being discipled. When men are passive, families drift and the congregation carries them. When men are trained, they carry the congregation. The work is not optional and it does not happen by accident.
Everything taught rests on the text rather than on commentary about it. Men are stewards of God's creation (Genesis 2:15-19), no one succeeds alone (Genesis 2:18), all of us are born into spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12), and battlefield success requires training (Psalm 144:1-2).
Instruction, then supervised practice, then real responsibility. Every man in a cohort takes his turn leading his brothers through a lesson, because a man who has only ever received teaching has never actually been trained to lead.
